COVID-19: 854 new cases recorded; Case count is 22,822

Coronavirus infections have moved up to 22,822 in Ghana after health officials  recorded 854 new cases as of Wednesday, July 8, 2020.

The latest update also indicates an increase in number of recovery/discharge cases with a total figure of 17, 564.

Meanwhile the death toll still stands at 129.

The number of active cases is also quoted as 5,129.

The Greater Accra Region still tops the chart with 12,560 cases with the Ashanti Region following closely with a total of 4,824 cases.
