The main opposition NDC has handed a 6-month suspension, effective May 10, 2019 to its Central Regional Communication Officer, Kwesi Dawood.
It’s unclear the offense of the NDC official, but a circular to all media houses by the Regional leadership said the matter has been referred to the Disciplinary Committee for hearing.
His Deputy, Lawrence Kwesi Ghartey, will take over as Acting Communications Officer until further notice, officials say.
“All communication activities of the party, as well as issues and concerns about party communications in the region, are to be directed to him, henceforth, ” the letter said.
