The Minister of Energy has terminated the appointment of Ing. Samuel Boakye-Appiah as the care-taker Chief Executive Officer of the Electricity Company of Ghana(ECG).
A statement signed by Chief Director of the Ministry Lawrence Apaalse for the Minister and addressed to Ing. Samuel Boakye-Appiah said: “It is observed that your contract as Care-Taker Chief Executive Officer of the Electricity Company of Ghana expired in 2018.
“In this regard, I am directed to request you to take the necessary steps to hand over your duties to Mr. Kwame Agyeman-Badu, Deputy Managing Director of Electricity Company of Ghana with immediate effect. Please accept the gratitude of H.E the President for the invaluable service you rendered to the nation.”
