
Eight more persons have died from COVID-19 in Ghana, pushing the country’s death toll to 231, according to the Ghana Health Service’s latest update.
Meanwhile, the country has made major gains in the fight against the disease by way of recoveries with the number standing at 39, 993.
The active cases have dropped to 1,839.
Ghana’s COVID-19 case count currently stands at 42, 063 after 216 new ones were reported from the lab. Four persons are currently on ventilators, leaving six others in critical condition while 17 have been classified as severe cases.
