A native of Ejura in the Ashanti Region resident abroad Hon. Jalil has donated books worth Ghc 2,500.00 to Ejura Community Library.
According to him, education of the young people of Ejura has always been dear to his heart, hence mobilizing and donating the educational materials.
He said he will continue to donate such materials until he realizes that the standard of education in Ejura gets to an appreciable level.
He also urged officials of the Library to ensure the books are handled with care to avoid them being destroyed.
Hon. Jalil called on other public-spirited individuals to support such worthy cause.
He further urged the Ejura-Sekyedumase Municipal Assembly to make the educational needs of children in the area its priority and address their concerns as education is very important.
The pupils on their part expressed their gratitude to their benefactor and assured to make use of the books.
