Veteran highlife musician, Akosua Agyapong has said she could not have found extra money to have invested in troubled gold dealership firm, Menzgold, while taking care of her six children.
Her comments come in wake of alleged reports that some musicians have allegedly had their huge sums of monies invested in Menzgold locked up.
The reports on many online platforms claimed that musicians including
Cwesi Oteng, musician turned politician, Kwame A-Plus, Kumawood actress, Tracy Boakye and actress Yvonne Nelson supposedly invested at Menzgold.
A Plus has however denied investing a whopping Ghc2,000,000 in Menzgold.
Speaking on Ejura based Naagyei FM’s Entertainment show, Akosua Agyepong told host Moses Aluebasi that taking care of her six children is so financially demanding that she had no spare money to invest in Menzgold.
“No I didn’t invest in Menzgold, my children are many and my money is not even enough for me, so I just can’t have extra money to invest in Mengold.”
Akosua Agyapong who’s a mother of six, sympathized with those who have had their monies locked up in Menzgold and prayed that they’ll eventually have their investments paid back to them.
