The Ahafo regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has been confirmed dead in a motor accident which occurred Saturday.
The deceased, Mr. Francis Sarfo Poku popularly known as “Chairman Jerry” according to reports was returning from an official party duty at Mim.
The Range Rover vehicle of the politician cum astute businessman with registration number GT 3150-17 reportedly somersaulted several times leading to his death.
Other occupants of the vehicle including his wife and the driver are said to be in critical condition and have been rushed to the Sunyani Government Hospital.
