Reopening for SHS 3 students still remains May 5 – GES

The Ghana Education Service(GES) has reiterated that the reopening of SHS 3 students still remains as 5th May 2021.

This comes on the back of a post being circulated on Facebook suggesting that the reopening date for SHS 3 students has been postponed again to the 28th of May 2021.

However, a Press Statement issued by Head of the Public Relations Unit, Cassandra Twum-Ampofo dismissed the reports asking all students, staff, parents and the general public to disregard the “fake news” being circulated by some unscrupulous persons.

“Management wishes to make it clear that no such decision has been made and that the reopening of SHS 3 students remains as 5th May 2021.

“Management again assures all that the new academic calendar will be published in due course.
