Eleven more Ghanaians have died from COVID-19 increasing the country’s death toll from 494 to 505.
According to the latest update by the Ghana Health Service, a total of 790 new cases have been recorded as of February 8, 2021, sending the number of active cases to 7,509.
Per the report, out of 822, 643 samples tested since the virus was imported into the country in March 2020, 74,347 have so far returned positive with 66, 333 recoveries.
A total of 109 patients are severely ill, while 28 others are said to be in critical condition.
