2020 Election: I’m taking back Ejura-Sekyedumase seat – Salisu Bamba

The ruling New Patriotic Party(NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Ejura-Sekyedumase Hon Salisu Bamba has filed his nomination form in Ejura Sekyedumase EC office to enable him contest for the upcoming December 7 Parliamentary election.

Hon. Bamba who’s currently the Municipal Chief Executive and former MP from 2012 to 2016 is confident of wrestling the seat from the incumbent NDC Member of Parliament Bawa Braimah who onced served as the Municipal Chief Executive for the area.

Addressing the media after presenting his nomination forms, Hon. Bamba promised to work hard to increase the vote margin of Nana Akufo Addo and himself come election day.

Hon. Salisu Bamba said being a man of peace he poised to do a clean and issue-based campaign saying there are a lot of achievements of the Akufo Addo government including the Free SHS programme, planting for food and jobs and NABCo among others that he can use to campaign.

He described the incumbent MP as a failure who has not done anything significant to improve the lives of Ejura-Sekyedumase constituents.

“We’ve voted for an MP for the past four years, with just two months to end his term he has not been able to complete a single physical project. Not even one project I repeat, His poor record is what I will attack not his personality. I urge party supporters to wage a strong issue-based campaign and sell the good work of Akufo Addo to enable the NPP to retain power and continue with the developmental agenda of Ghana,” Hon. Salisu Bamba stated.
