A man thought to be in his mid-thirties has been arrested for attempting to commit suicide in the chamber of Parliament.
The man who has been identified as Kojo Mensah attempted suicide immediately after the adjournment of sitting on Thursday, June 13, 2019
According to the Commander of the Parliament Police Supt. Freeman Tetteh criminal investigation has begun into his conduct.
He has been transferred to the Ministries police station.
