As part of the Education Week celebration by Presbyterian Church of Ghana, the Atebubu District Young Adult Fellowship (YAF) has donated teaching and learning materials to Presby schools within the district.
The items include textbooks, exercise books, pens, pencils, etc.
During the presentation, Rev. David Oppong Yeboah, the district Minister cautioned the teachers to desist from absenteeism and lateness since it affects teaching and learning.
He charged the teachers to get time for the students and also educate them with the word of God.
Again, Mr. Robert Kwadwo Siemoh, who is the Presbytery YAF President also encouraged the student to take their education seriously and desist from depending on hard drugs to study.
He said taken drugs with the aim of using it to study affects their health.
Mr. Charles Owusu, the Headmaster of Atebubu Presby “A ” who received these items commended the Presby church for supporting the school.
He pledged to make good use of the materials.
