Bono East: Cherehin Chief appeals to Govt to fix Jema-Cherehin deplorable road

The Chief of Cherehin community under Nkoranza Traditional Council in the Bono East Region Nana Owusu Gyan II has appealed to President Akufo-Addo to do well and fix their deplorable 4km road from Jema to Cherenhin.

According to him, the poor nature of the road has affected farming activities in the area.

Speaking to Peace FM’s reporter Kwabena Manu during the celebration of 2019 Annual Munukese Yam Festival, Nana Owusu Gyan II stated that the entire community voted for NPP in 2016 for them to come and fix their road for them but after their three years in office the road remains in the same poor state.

The situation has resulted in farmers not being able to send their farm produce to market.
