The Chief and the people at Kamanpa in Pru West District in the Bono East Region have appealed to the government to support them with a dam to boost local rice production in the area.
The chief, Nana Kwame Wande II who spoke to Atebubu-based Star FM’s reporter, Kwabena Manu during the celebration of 2019 Kafojo Yam festival stated most his people are farmers and they found it difficult to expand their farms especially during the dry season and therefore needs dams to boost rice production
He also appealed to the government to construct their road that links Abaasi so that they can send their farm produce to the market.
He finally appealed to President Akufo-Addo to build nurses’ quarters for them to boost health care delivery.
