Doctors at the Winneba Government Hospital are racing against time Monday Morning to save 10 passengers terribly injured in an accident that occurred at Gomoa Mpota on the Kasoa-Winneba Highway in the Central Region on Sunday.
Seven others have already been confirmed dead.
The injured include a three year old boy who sustained severe fractures, whose parent cannot be traced.
According to eye witnesses, the driver of the passenger bus who was speeding and overtaking other vehicles suddenly burst its tyre and hit a private car and in the process somersaulted several times.
Doctors say there’s no ambulance to transport the boy who currently in an unstable condition to either Korle Bu Teaching Hospital or the 37 Military Hospital for treatment.
