Her Ladyship the Chief Justice has closed down the Accra Central District Courts with immediate effect.
In a letter signed by the Judicial Secretary, Cynthia Pamela A. Addo explained that the closure is a result of a report received by Her Ladyship the Chief Justice that, on 13th and 15th February 2019, the Assembly removed the doors and windows of the courthouse and chambers of the Magistrates without recourse to the Management of the Service.
“In view of the foregoing, all cases at the District Court, Laterbiokorshe, are to be transferred to the District Court, Kaneshie,” the statement added.
