Covid-19: GES establishes call centres to aid computerized Sch. placement

The Ghana Education Service(GES) has asked the general public to remain calm as it prepares earnestly to release the Computerized School Placement soon.

A statement issued by the GES said the Covid-19 situation has prompted putting in place effective measures to smoothen the exercise across the country amid the pandemic.

“It should be noted that due to the Covid-19 situation, Management of GES is setting up Call Centers across the country and other appropriate alternative measures to resolve all Placement related issues, ” the statement signed by the Head of Public Relations Unit, Cassandra Twum Ampofo said.

The Statement further assured parents, guardians, candidates and the general public that the GES is committed to ensuring a smooth, merit-based SHS placement process under established guidelines.

“Management of GES takes this opportunity to thank all stakeholders for their patience and support,” the statement concluded.
