The Member of Parliament for Ejura-Sekyedumase, Bawa Braimah has advised students in the municipality who have just completed their Basic Education Certificate Examination(BECE) to live morally acceptable lifestyles while they wait for the results.
There have been reports in the past where some female students who complete their examination get pregnant even before their results are in with some of the guys engaging in all sorts of vices.
The MP gave the advise when he addressed the candidates during his tour of examination centres in the area on the last day of the examination on Friday.
” You shouldn’t behave like completing BECE means the world has come to an end. Completing BECE is like taking just a step when climbing a ladder, you’ve taken just a step in your academic journey there’s more ahead of you. It is important that you’ll respect adults and to live a good life by shunning bad lifestyles that will land you in trouble while you wait for your results,” Hon. Bawa Braimah told the students.
A total of 2,435 candidates from nine schools in the area took part in the five-day examination which was the first external examination of their lives which will enable them to have access to senior high school education.
