Municipal Chief Executive for Ejura Sekyedumase in the Ashanti Region,
Hon Salisu Bamba has presented 22 motorbikes to Agric Extension Officers in the area.
The motorbikes are expected to aid the extension officers to move about in the discharge of their duties to boost agriculture in the municipality and Ghana at large.
Hon. Salisu Bamba during the presentation ceremony advised the beneficiaries to put the motorbikes to good use and ensure they are well maintained at all times.
“ Before this presentation, I’m sure that motorbikes that were available for use by extension officer may not exceed 3, so if you have such a large number now I appeal to you to take good care of the motorbikes. We want to see the motorbikes in good condition when we come here a year from now.
“The motorbikes are insured and as you can see clearly from the registration numbers they are owned by the government and are not your personal property so please use it for the intended purpose for which they have been presented to you.” Hon. Bamba added.
