The Presidency has refuted claims made by Charles Owusu that some security personnel working at the capital are being treated unfairly.
The claims were aired on Peace FM throughout the preceding week, according to the Presidency, by Mr. Owusu, the former Head of the Monitoring Unit at the Forestry Commission (FC).

However, the charges are false, according to a press release from the Presidency’s director of communications, Eugene Arhin, that was released on Sunday, September 3.
During Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s presidency, from 2017 to the present, “the Office of the President would like to place on record that seventy-seven security personnel have never left Jubilee House for their respective units.”
No security guard has actually departed Jubilee House as a result of the harsh treatment they received there. Curiously, Mr. Owusu did not offer any support for these untrue statements at any point in his submissions.
The security officers who have departed Jubilee House, according to Mr. Arhin, did so of their own free will and not as a result of unfair treatment.
So, he advised the general people to ignore the unfounded claims.
“It is important to emphasize that any security officer who has left Jubilee House has done so either for disciplinary reasons or on their own volition,” the statement reads.
The statement added, “We urge the public to dismiss these bogus accusations and treat them with the contempt they deserve.
