MPs are only good at organizing fun games – Rapper Qwesi Qorang

Up-and-coming Ghanaian rapper, Qwesi Qorang has lambasted Members of parliament in Ghana, saying all they know doing well is to organize fun games for their constituents.

The musician who’s out with a new song titled ‘Letter To My MP’ lashed out against MPs accusing them of playing mind games with the youth by organizing fun games when an election is approaching but turn their backs on them after the elections are over.

Speaking to host Moses Aluebasi on Ejura based Naagyei FM’s Entertainment show, Qwesi Qorang said most of the MPs have woefully underperformed in the discharge of their duties and urged the electorate to pile pressure on the MPs to get them to work.

“Politics in Ghana has failed Ghanaians, politicians in opposition irrespective of which political party promise us so much but when they are voted into power fail abysmally to honour their word. For our MPs, what they know to do best is to organize fun games for their constituents and nothing more. We the electorate have allowed politicians over the years to take us for granted and it is about time we rise up and demand development from those in authority as it is our right to do so.“.

The Sunyani based rapper added that he’s resolute in his resolve to remain the voice for the voiceless in society and will continue to contribute his quota towards making Ghana a better place to live in.

Qwesi Qorang further stated that he’ll decline an offer to compose a campaign song for any political party so that he can continue being a critical voice and not be tagged as a sympathizer of any political party.
