Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko have confirmed coach Maxwell Konadu as the new head coach for the upcoming season.
The Ghana Black Stars B coach has signed a two-year deal with the Porcupine Warriors, DailymailGh.com can confirm.
The Kumasi-based club announced the appointment of the experienced coach through their official Twitter handle.
Konadu previously worked with the Reds and has been the head of the technical team after Norwegian tactician Kjetil Zachariassen was axed by the club a few weeks ago.
According to our sources, Konadu’s first assignment as head coach of Kotoko will be against arch-rivals Hearts of Oak in the 2019 President Cup slated for December 15, 2019.
The 45-year-old coach will be assisted by former Karela United manager Johnson Smith.
