Eric Adoglah, the driver of Deputy General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC) Eric Adoglah has been arrested by some armed personnel of the National Investigations Bureau, (NIB) allegedly over recent market fires.
The suspect has however been denied access to legal representation after his arrest this dawn.
Speaking to Kasapa News, a member of the NDC legal team Victor Adawudu disclosed all attempts to get access to the suspect has proved futile.
He accused the government of attempt to use the security services to intimidate members of the opposition NDC following the rejection of the outcome of the December polls.
The lawyer, however, warned of dire consequences if the security does not play fair.
In the past month, portions of Odawna, Kantamanto, and Kaneshie markets have been torched destroying properties worth thousands of cedis.
