A  3-unit classroom block with offices for the vice principal and the administration which commenced on the 5th of November 2018,  by the Member of Parliament for Sunyani East constituency, Majority Chief Whip and leader of Ghana’s delegation in the ECOWAS Parliament, was commissioned yesterday 4th February 2019, barely three(3) months ago at the Methodist Technical and Vocational Institute, Baakoniaba.

Commissioning the project, the Member of Parliament expressed gratitude to his Excellency the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the NPP government for given opportunity to every Senior High School going child access to education.

The MP also ceased the opportunity on the day, to break ground for the construction of a mechanised water facility for the school which is expected to be completed within 2 months

At the ceremony, were the Nananom of the area, representatives of the Methodist church, municipal education directorate led by Mrs Theresa Kyere Boakye, the Presiding Member of the Sunyani Municipal Assembly, Hon. Ansu Kumi, the NADMO director of the Assembly, constituency executives, communicators and many other prominent people.
