All broken down boreholes in Ejura to be repaired by July 2019 – MCE

The Chief Executive of Ejura-Sekyedumase Municipal Assembly in the Ashanti Region, Salisu Bamba has revealed that all broken down boreholes within the municipality will be fixed between now and July.

According to him, the funding for the repair works is ready.

Speaking to Henry Lord on Naagyei FM, Hon. Bamba noted that one serious problem facing the municipality is the issue of lack of constant water supply.

He disclosed that some German partners who have visited the area last month have committed to help make the Ejura township water system solar powered.

“This has become necessary so that even when there’s lack of electricity supply to parts of the area residents can still have water supply. It is well known that whenever there’s power outage in  Ejura township for one hour there’s major water problem for some period of time. So we are working to resolve that issue.”
