Vice President Dr. Mahammudu Bawumia has voted in the early hours of Tuesday at Walelwale in the ongoing District and Unit Committee members’ election.
The Vice President cast his ballot specifically at Kperiga Presby D/A School ‘A’ polling station in Walewale, where he hails from.
After fulfilling his civic responsibility, he wrote on his Facebook page:”I urge all to come out in your numbers to vote since national development begins at the local level.”
Ghanaians are today December 17, 2019 electing their Assembly Members and Unit Committee members across the country.
The exercise began from 7am and will end at 5pm.
This will happen simultaneously across the country with 57,030 candidates contesting this year’s elections.
