Ejura-Sekyedumase NABCo personnel donates to Ejura Nkwanta prison

Personnel of the Nation Builders Corp(NABCo) in the Ejura Sekyedumase of the Ashanti region have donated items worth over GHC2,000 to the Ejura Nkwanta prison.

The donation of the items which include bags of rice, oil, sugar etc forms part of the NABCo’s one year anniversary celebration in the Municipality.

Mr. Thomas Memkah Ejura Sekyedumase NABCO Coordinator during the presentation stated that the personnel was touched to make voluntary contributions to raise funds to purchase the items have known of the challenges the prison is facing.

“We were led to make this generous donation, something brought these inmates here. We know that anyone could find him or herself in this prison camp sometimes due to circumstances beyond one’s control. It may well be the case that some inmates are innocent of the crime that brought him or her here. So we came to show the inmates love. This will not be the last time we’re donating to this prison camp. I also urge well-meaning Ghanaians to come to their aid.”

DSP K. Owusu Ameyaw Ejura Prison Commander expressed his gratitude to the NABCo personnel and promised to put the items to good use.

He added that items apart from marijuana, alcohol, tramadol will be welcomed by the prison.
