Kumasi ready to receive thousands of well-wishers as Otumfuo celebrates 20th Anniversary

The Ashanti Regional Capital, Kumasi is set to host several foreign and local dignitaries who have arrived in the city for today’s grand durbar marking the 20th anniversary of the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

President Akufo Addo and his predecessors are among high profile personalities to grace the occasion.

The recently enskinned Dagbon King, Yaa Naa Abukari Andani, Okyehene Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin and other Ghanaian traditional leaders will be in attendance.

There will also be delegations from Suriname, Seychelles Island, and some African countries.

Organizers have worked hard to put the Manhyia Palace in a colorful state and ready for the occasion.
