Seven Flagbearer aspirants of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) are expected to address party supporters at a durbar to mark the 37th anniversary of the 31st December revolution Monday morning.
The event will also include a parade and wreath-laying ceremony.
A statement by the Planning Committee of the event confirmed that ex President Jerry John Rawlings and leading members of the revolution will be in attendance.
The theme for this year’s celebration is ”Deepening the core principles of good leadership for political governance”.
Speakers at the event will include Presidential aspirants John Mahama, Alban Bagbin, Ekow Spio Garbrah, Prof. Joshua Alabi, Sylvester Mensah, Goozie Tanoh and Nurudeen Idrissu.
