The opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC) will today April 4, 2019, hold a public lecture about a post-mortem of Ghana’s four-year Extended Credit Facility Programme (ECF) with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and a preview of the economy after the IMF has finally exited.
The lecture which will be delivered by the Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central, Isaac Adongo is under the auspices of The Coalition For Restoration (CFR), a pressure group affiliated to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) under the theme “Ghana’s rising fiscal risks, financial crunch and external vulnerabilities: A postmortem of the Extended Credit Facility (ECF) Programme and a preview of the economy without the International Monetary Fund (IMF)”.
The event which will be held at the Mensvic Hotel, East Legon, will be graced by Ex-President John Dramani Mahama who is the Guest of Honour with Hon. Betty Mould Iddrisu, Former Attorney General and Minister of Justice as the Chairperson.
This much-publicized lecture comes a day after Head of the Economic Management Team and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia held his Town Hall meeting to give a detailed account of Ghana’s economy.
