Veteran gospel musician Nana Yaw Asare has said never can he be attacked by a juju spell that is cast against him.
Strangely, there have been reports that some gospel musicians consult all sorts of deities to cast juju spells on their colleague musicians to ruin their music career.
They are said to present to fetish priests pictures of the targeted musician and a copy of that person’s music CD for rituals to be done for the spell to work.
But speaking to host Moses Aluebasi on Ejura based Naagyei FM’s Entertainment Review show, the “Kantinka” crooner stated that any juju done against him will fail as it will lack basis.
“I’ve heard reports suggesting that sadly this is what some of my colleagues are alleged to be doing but I don’t know how true it as I don’t have any evidence. When a juju is cast against it is will not prevail because I’ve not wronged anybody. If you curse someone and there is no basis it will never work. I believe strongly that nobody will have a basis to do me any harm.
“But whoever does these bad things will receive the wrath of God and will never go unpunished because this job is for God. There’s no need for a person to go for juju against his or her colleague simply because that person is doing better. We must ensure to develop whatever talent we have to make us stand out always and not to bring our colleagues down.”
