The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) is set to launch its manifesto for the December 7 general elections on August 22, 2020.
The Manifesto drafting committee Chaired by Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is confident that Ghanaians will retain the party for another four-year term.
General Secretary Mr. John Boadu said that President Akufo-Addo’s government has delivered its promises made to the Ghanaian people in the lead up to the 2016 Presidential and Parliamentary polls.
“The NPP vision on our way forward captured in our manifesto 2020 will hopefully be shared with Ghanaians on August 22, 2020. We will be having a steering committee tomorrow [Tuesday] to validate and accept this date.”
He said the manifesto contained key policies that will help consolidate Ghana’s development.
“We will also have a National Council, which is the second-highest decision-making body in the absence of the Annual Delegates Conference on the same day in order to launch the manifesto. We ask you to look on that day to heartwarming policies detailing how with your support we will transform Ghana for the benefit of all.”
The NPP is confident that the yet-to-be outdoored campaign promises will get the party’s mandate to be renewed.
