Mr Ofosu Ampofo was released by the Police CID after almost 8hrs of being held following his invitation by the Police.
He addressed a tumultuous crowd of NDC sympathizers that massed up at the Police headquarters in solidarity with the National Chairman.
Earlier the National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress Samuel Ofosu Ampofo and his followers threatened to storm out of the Police headquarters if the officials of the Police CID do not attend to them after 3 hours of waiting.
