A Sunyani based gospel musician Prophet David Kyeremeh has bemoaned the current situation where several gospel musicians rush in coming out with new songs because they want to make money.
According to him, this development negatively affects the quality of songs as most of them don’t contain Holy Spirit-filled inspired powerful lyrics.
“ The trends of doing music has changed in our generation, today, there’s too much rush in doing gospel music, in time past before a gospel musician comes out with an album, he or she takes time to put down good lyrics, well composed before the album is launched. Today, because of the craze for money people rush in coming out with songs most of which are empty. Nowadys a musician comes out with a new song just three months later another song is released. ” Prophet Kyeremeh to host Moses Aluebasi on Naagyei FM Entertainment show.
He advised young musicians to take their time and have experienced musicians listen to their songs and fine tune them before they bring the songs onto the market.
