Articulate and young politician Sammy Gyamfi has been elected the Communications Officer for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Provisional results from Saturday/Sunday elections indicate that Sammy Gyamfi beat his only contender, Fred Agbenyo who was the deputy Communications Director of the party with more than 4,000 votes.
Gyamfi polled 6,215 votes while Fred Agbenyo was able to garner 2,069 votes.
Sammy Gyamfi was the spokesperson for former Kumasi Mayor, Kojo Bonsu and a member of Ashanti Regional Communications Team of the NDC.
He was President of the Tertiary Education Network (TEIN) of the NDC at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) from the year 2011 to 2012.
