A Consultant Surgeon at the Trust Hospital in Accra, Dr. Richard Kisser has died from COVID-19.
The Senior Medical officer passed on at the University of Ghana Medical Centre(UGMC) on Thursday 2nd July, 2020 where he was receiving treatment for COVID-19 complications.
He joins the likes of the Medical Superintendent of the Kwadaso SDA Hospital in Kumasi, Dr Boateng and Professor Jacob Plange-Rhule, the Rector of the College of Physicians and Surgeons, who have died from COVID-19.
