Dancehall Artistes Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale both spent the night in Police cells following their detention by the Accra Regional Police Command over the gun incident on the VGMA stage Sunday.
The two were invited for questioning by the Police in connection with the disturbances that rocked the 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs).
The programmed was marred by a brawl between the two musicians after Shatta Wale and his followers stormed the stage when Stonebwoy was declared as Reggae Dancehall Artiste of the Year.
Police say charges are yet to be preferred against the two since investigations are ongoing.
