The Brong Ahafo Regional Youth wing of the opposition National Democratic Congress [NDC], has congratulated some irate Muslim youth who vandalized properties at Rev. Owusu Bempah’s church premises at Odorkor in Accra.
According to NDC Youth wing,“Today, his so called prophecy has gone bad for him predicting death for our peace loving Chief Iman and His Majesty the Asantehene”. Owusu Bempah, the youth said, has been profiting from his prophecy because persons he prophesized about usually run to him for solution then he will “name his price”.
Angry Muslim youth on Wednesday January 2, 2019, stormed the Church of controversial Prophet, Rev. Owusu Bempah in Accra destroying properties following his prophesy that the Chief Imam, Sheik Osman Nuhu Sharabutu will die this year, 2019.
The youth who could not take such bad prediction about their Holy father and leader besieged the church premises smashing glasses of the church building and vandalized other properties running into several thousands of cedis.
A statement issued by the Regional Youth Organizer, Efo Wolanyo Tsekpo,stated “Today Owusu Bempah is a threat to National security and must be arrested immediately,” the youth group insisted.
“Our Muslim Youths have done well and we wish to tell them that next time if it must be done, it must be done well. We know NPP Police will start hunting to shoot them but they dare not because the person who needs immediate arrest as a religious terrorist is Owusu Bempah.”
