Asamoah Gyan dismisses reports of ‘Captaincy meeting’ with Prez Akufo-Addo

Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has dismissed reports that he and vice-captain Adre Ayew were expected to have a crunch meeting with President Akufo-Addo.

Ghanasoccernet published a story that Ghana President Nana Addo will hold a crunch meeting with ‘rivals’ Gyan and Andre today over Black Stars captaincy row.

Upon seeing the story, Gyan was completely livid, described the story as ‘stupid’ and ‘fake’ and ultimately branded the media outlet as ‘not credible’.

 
Asamoah Gyan earlier said that Ayew is his friend and there is no friction between them.
