The murdered social/political activist, Ibrahim Mohammed, 40, aka Kaaka Macho in Ejura in the Ashanti Region is expected to be buried on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, in accordance with Islamic custom.
The deceased who’s said to be a member of pressure group #FixTheCountry is reported to have suffered machete wounds and bruises when he was attacked in his house on Friday night by unknown assailants.
It is alleged that some people who were worried by his postings of videos on happenings in Ejura on social media warned the deceased to stop his activism or pay a price with his life.
The police in Ejura following a complaint made about the deceased by some alleged members of the governing New patriotic party, issued him with a warning letter for ‘offensive conduct’.
Following his death on Monday at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi where he was receiving treatment, anger filled the youth of Ejura who took to the streets to demonstrate and demand justice.
