NDC instigated my attack, not Muslims – Prophet Owusu Bempah

The Founder and Leader of the Glorious Word Ministry International, Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah has accused the largest opposition party, the National Democratic Congress of being behind the recent attack on his church.

Angry Muslim youth on Wednesday January 2, 2019 stormed the Church of the controversial Prophet in Accra destroying properties following his prophesy that the Chief Imam, Sheik Osman Nuhu Sharabutu will die this year, 2019.

The youth who could not take such bad prediction about their Holy father and leader besieged the church premises smashing glasses of the church building and vandalized other properties running into several thousands of cedis.

Some persons who were found on the church premises were also attacked by the Muslim youth, and had to ran out for their lives with the security man having only a towel around his waist fleeing to safety.

The Chief Imam His Eminence Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharabutu has since the attack through his spokesperson Sheikh Aremeyaw stated that he does not support violence and therefore has no knowledge of the activities of the group that vandalized the church premises.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s Eko sii sen show as monitored by Naagyeifmonline.com, Prophet Owusu Bempah stated that the NDC instigated the attack simply because he prophesied that they’ll lose the impending 2020 elections.

“I have no issues with the Chief Imam who shows me love anytime he meets and I so much respect him. God forbid that I will ever speak against such a good man and a revered religious leader in Ghana. The attack on my church was not by Muslims, it was rather by hooligans belonging to the NDC party. They did that because I said the party will lose the 2020 general elections. We know all those who are behind the attack.”
